Louise displays a cheerful and carefree character, gets easily excited, and is very ditzy. Behind all the high energy, she’s a more mellow and tired person, but she feels the need to act as she does to make people like her. Only those closest to her get to see her calmer side.She loves joking and teasing and uses her being a foreigner to her advantage. While speaking Japanese, she will “accidentally” use the wrong words, giving her sentences a completely different meaning. In English, she will use suggestive dialogue tinged with innocence. She doesn’t mind making a fool of herself if it means she can amuse others, or just herself.She carries a deep desire to care for people. Maternal impulses run through her veins, and when faced with customers she will care for them as if they were family. She desires to start a family, but believes she is not fit to be a mother. Originally from Sweden, she moved to Japan when she was nineteen and later to the States after getting married.
Following her divorce, she got a job at the yakuza-owned club, where she met their boss, Yutaka Yamai.
2007-2013
Having grown up with an appreciation for everything Japanese, it was clear to Louise that she would one day live in the country she so adored. As soon as she was able to, she moved to Kamurocho where she started her new life. She’s unable to find much work, but one day is scouted to join Club Rainbow. Eager to get a job somewhere, she agrees.What started as an impulse ends up becoming one of the greatest decisions of her life. She easily befriends the people at Club Rainbow and views them as family. Happy with her workplace, Louise puts her all into job and ends up becoming the club's greatest hostess. She became known as the “Rainbow Queen.”Around this time, she meets Rory Harrison, an American living in Japan. He falls for her and continues seeing her at the club.In 2013, Rory’s time in Japan is coming to an end, but before he leaves he proposes to Louise, asking her to move with him to Hawaii. Blinded by her adoration, she agrees.

2014-2018
What started as a loving marriage turned out to be much worse. It didn’t take long for Rory to begin isolating Louise from the outside world, keeping her from getting a job and making any friends. She had to depend on him for everything with no friends or family.Despite his possessive behavior, Rory wasn’t nearly as devoted as one would believe. Being faced with Louise’s true personality, he dislikes her for not being the woman he thought she was. He stays married out of convenience but later begins an affair.

Rory reveals his affair to Louise and asks for a divorce. He allows her to stay with him for a month, but after the time is up, she has to move out lest he kick her out. With no job, Louise finds difficulty finding a home and grows desperate.One fateful day, Louise is approached by Tezuka from the Yamai Syndicate. He knows of her, especially her past as the Rainbow Queen. He wants to revive Cabaret El Dorado and wants her to work for them. In exchange, he tells her they might be able to help her out. Louise says yes almost right away.Before working there, she has to meet with his boss, Yutaka Yamai. Considering his personality, it’s a tense meeting, but he takes pity on her in the end and decides to help her. He lends her money in exchange for her working for him. Louise leaves Rory’s home and finds her apartment, and her life with the Yamai Syndicate begins.Working as a hostess again, it doesn’t take long for Louise to get into the swing of things. Happy to interact with people after years of nothing, she’s eager to speak with her customers. Louise works hard on her debt, and soon enough, she becomes the most famous woman in the club. She wins the hearts of many men in the Syndicate, which leads to Yamai growing curious about her.One night, Yamai requests her at the club. While incredibly nervous at first, she loosens up around him. Louise views Yamai as her hero for lending her the money and looks up to him dearly. Yamai finds himself surprisingly interested in her.

Even after paying off her debt to Yamai, Louise remains at Cabaret El Dorado. She has found her new family with the Yamai Syndicate, especially Yamai himself.
RELATIONSHIPS
YUTAKA YAMAI Initially a relationship between employer and employee, Yamai and Louise's relationship eventually blossoms into something more.It all began with their first encounter during Louise's interview for a position at Cabaret El Dorado. Arriving late at the club, she doesn't make the best first impression upon Yamai, but he gives her a chance to make up for it. Asking her to treat him like a customer, Louise exudes charisma and energy while fulfilling her role as a hostess.During a slip of the tongue, Louise ends up telling him about her financial struggle and needing money to move out of her ex's place. Yamai takes pity on her and decides to help her. He offers her a position at the club and lends her the money, not as a handout, but as a loan to be repaid through her hard work. Louise, grateful for his support, eagerly accepts the opportunity.From that point on, Louise comes to view Yamai as her savior. She admires him from afar, believing she would never be allowed to spend time with him. After she becomes the club's famous hostess, she catches the attention of Yamai, who begrudgingly finds himself curious about her.One night, Yamai requests Louise to be his hostess. Although initially nervous, she calms down, and they share a happy time. Louise begs Yamai to request her again, which he brushes off, but later reconsiders.From that day on, Yamai occasionally asks Louise to be his hostess, and the two spend time together. TEZUKA SUDA Tezuka tracked Louise down and tried to get her to join Cabaret El Dorado. He heard about her while in Kamurocho and grew interested after hearing she lived in Hawaii. He approached her for a job at their club. Desperate, Louise agreed on the spot.After spending some time together, Tezuka grows to enjoy Louise’s company. He develops a crush on her, but before he can act upon it, Yamai becomes interested in her. Not wanting to step on his boss' toes, Tezuka tries to bury his feelings and move on but finds it difficult when Yamai and Louise eventually get romantically involved. SAKUMA
Sakuma is one of Yamai's most loyal men. While he’s not close to Louise, he supports her relationship with their boss because of how much she helps him. RORY HARRISON Rory is Louise's ex-husband. They met while he was living in Japan. One night, he went to Club Rainbow with his friends, where Louise ended up as his hostess. He fell for her at first sight and would spend years visiting her at the club until his final days in the country came. Before leaving for Hawaii, he proposed to Louise, asking her to come. Head over heels, she said yes.While their marriage started out well enough, it didn’t take long for Rory to become disappointed with the person Louise was. He would eventually cheat on her with another woman, leading to their divorce after five years of marriage.He allows her to stay at his home for a month after their divorce but tells her to find her own place as soon as possible, or else she’ll be kicked out. He cares little about her financial situation and difficulty finding work.
Love
Not PDA. Everyone in the syndicate is aware of their relationship, but they don’t act intimate in public. In private, Louise is all over him.
She’s very affectionate and ready to show Yutaka her worship while he’s more quiet. He does have his rare moments of initiating and showing love, which always takes her by surprise.
She loves pet names and calls him so many different things. He just uses her name, not even "Lulu."
Louise
Very loving and adoring. A devoted lover who will stand by the side of her beloved for all eternity.
An incredibly jealous person. Possessive and needy with a fear of getting discarded stemming from being cheated on. Seeing him with other women drives her mad, and she takes out this frustration by clinging on him the next time they're alone.
Deeply insecure. Believes Yutaka deserves someone better than her. Despite this, she tries her hardest to be a person fit for his love.
Yutaka
Not jealous about her work. It's her job to serve clients, whatever. Does, however, get jealous when other men outside of the syndicate seem to have an interest in her. Will appear in the background and stand menacingly in silence.
Seems disinterested in both her and their relationship, but it's only his cold exterior acting up. Luckily Louise is kinda into it though.
Secretly concerned about her and that he's just dragging her into trouble. While he tells himself he's prepared for her to leave him at any time, inside he's not.
